This 2008 290 Sundeck is built for fun in the sun, with plenty of seating, storage and amenities. There's beneath-seat storage, in-floor storage, anchor storage, and the list goes on. The bow seating and layout are exceptional: padded seats, backrests, flip-down inner armrests with outer grab-rails, and recessed speakers and stainless steel cup holders. A door closes off the bow area, and behind it are a small cuddy beneath the driver's console (starboard) and a large, enclosed head with a freshwater sink, shower, light and mirror. Between them is a large, lockable in-floor locker plenty big enough to handle skis and wakeboards. The cockpit is self-draining, as is every other compartment, and all hardware is stainless. The helm seat slides, swivels and has a flip-up bolster. The 290 Sundeck's galley is top-notch, with a freshwater sink supplied by a 24-gallon tank, a removable trash bin and a refrigerator all standard. The stainless steel gas grill is a very nice upgrade included on this boat. A port-side table that rests on a swivel and hydraulic pedestal. Turn the tabletop and it becomes the base for the lounge. Just add the filler cushions and you have a decent-sized sun-pad. The 290 Sundeck's long list of standard features is impressive, and includes a VCS vessel control system, JL Audio system with stereo/CD with six speakers. An extended swim platform with boarding ladder and grab handle, integrated transom seat, transom stereo remote, Bimini top, SmartCraft diagnostic gauges, tilt steering, and hydraulic engine hatch. There are also two insulated coolers; one fore and one aft. Transom storage, a wash-down and tow eye are also standard.
This boat is equipped with Mercruiser's DTS (digital throttle shift) system which includes the Ski-Tow controls (launch and cruise control)
This is an upper-scale performance deckboat so this 290 Sundeck should be your next boat.
