She was designed by Walter Schurtenberger who studied architecture in Zurich Switzerland and has been building boats since 1978.
In 1982 he met Nigel Irens* and, over the course of a decade, advanced from his
right hand man to foreman to supervisor and, finally, his project manager. Nigel,
the world famous multihull designer, has designed and overseen the construction of
many of the world's most successful racing multihulls. designed the transatlantic winner in 1992, setting a record. In 1994 his Enza vessel set a round the world record of 76 days and 8 hours.
Optimal functionality and ease of handling were kept in mind. There are two helm stations outside and one inside at the chart table. Navigation, wind instrumentation and steering is at all 3 stations. All ropes and lines lead to both port and starboard helm, meaning that the vessel can be operated from either helm. The lay-out of the deck is such that she can be single-handed by an experienced sailor.
This yacht has a tremendous amount of deck space and your guests can chose between sunbathing on the deck, laying on the forward trampoline or relaxing in the shade.
The sliding door is half tall on the port side sliding over the galley counter for a buffet type style of service. Pure genius.
4 Cabins with 4 heads are very stylish with all appointments one would hope to wish for. Each shower has 6 shower jets to massage your body. The view from two of the berths is star gazing pleasure!
Bosch appliances, the absolute top of the line when outfitting a kitchen are well laid out for ease of use. She also boasts a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer.
