Silvertons are known for comfort and style.
Most Silverton owners use their boats for cruising, according to the manufacturer, but about 20 percent use them for fishing.
The owner of this 2003 Silverton 38 Convertible reports that the typical cruising speed is about 20 knots (or about 23 miles per hour) and that the fuel consumption at cruising speed is about 12 to 13 gallons per engine per hour.
The boat sleeps six: two in the forward queen berth, two in the port side stateroom, and two on the starboard side sofa.
The Kohler 8E0Z-FWC generator has a Yanmar engine upgrade with about 200 hours on it, the owner says.

POP Yachts has partnered with Boat History Report® to provide history reports on all or most of our vessels for sale.
History Reports include accident data collected from public and private sources throughout the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. These accidents are reported to Boat History Report and then entered into our database. Boat History Report's Accident Database also includes minor accidents. However, we don't have information on all accidents, which is why it is stated on all History Reports: All accidents are not reported to Boat History Report. Therefore, it is recommended that a complete inspection or survey be completed by a professional before consummating a purchase.
