This 1995 Mainship 40 is a great boat for simple weekend cruising or lengthy trips in open water. Powered by twin Mercruiser 454 EFI (fresh water cooled) with 961 hours. The current owner upgraded and fixed up the boat when he bought it in 2008 and a list of these upgrades is available. He replaced the bimini with a very sturdy hardtop, replaced the old genset with a refurbished Kohler 7kw, new eisenglass, new canvas, new batteries. She is stored in the water, bottom painted and regularly scrubbed.
