When I began working with Kevin last summer to purchase a boat, a lot of my friends asked why I would use a broker. After nearly a six month search, I am able to provide several sound reasons. The most significant reason being I really didn't know a lot about boats! I told Kevin what I wanted and what my budget was, and he took it from there. Kevin sent me pictures and information daily on boats from around the country that met my criteria. If I was interested, HE contacted the seller and gathered additional information for me. That brings the second reason it was worth working with a broker...I don't have time to do all the leg work involved in finding the perfect boat. Kevin worked hours for me which were mostly weekends and evenings when it was convenient for me. The last and most important reason was, when it came down to the sea test and purchase negotiations, Kevin was right there with me! His knowledge of mechanics and maintenance far exceeded mine and having someone by my side while negotiating purchase price was a HUGE benefit. Bottom line, Kevin and the team at POP Yachts made my search for a boat a GREAT experience!
