Q. When did you first realized you loved boats?
Ever since I was a kid. I had an Aquasport when I was 12 years old. As kids, we grew up around sport fish. Every summer we'd be on the boat. I grew up on Marco Island, and our stomping grounds were the Grand Tortugas, the Florida Keys and the Bahamas. And I got my captain's license in 2005.

Q. What's the most interesting sale you've made lately?
A 1999 Carver 530 Voyager. The fellow got the shipping quote – about $41,000 to send it over to Panama. He ended up driving it himself, so we got it pretty much rigged with $27,000 worth of electronics, satellite technology to make sure he wouldn't get lost. That was kind of a cool situation and I helped him to get it together. It's not just finding the boat or buying the boat. It's the services and experiences of helping the new captain get underway.

Q. What's your favorite boating spot?
Off Indonesia where there are clear waters that are deep as all hell so you get lot of marine life.

Q. What kind of boat do you have now?
A 24-foot Aquasport.

Q. What makes POP Yacht's approach so successful?
Having the technology and experience of the boating world. The software is what put this company where it is today. The rest of it is just hard work.

Q. When you're not boating what do you do for fun?
I fish, dive, play tennis, swim, paddle board and surf – and I like sitting on the couch with my wife watching TV.

Q. What do you like most about working for POP Yachts?
I always want to be on a boat and being able to fulfilling that lifestyle. For POP, the sky's the limit. It's amazing what the company has done in the past four years and what it's going to do in the next four years.
