Q. When did you first get into boats?
I was probably 1 or 2 years old. I have always been into boats as long as I can remember. When I was a little kid, my mother used to call me a fish because all I liked to do was swim.

Q. When did you get your first boat?
From 10 years old, I had my first boat, which was a little Boston Whaler. By 14 I had a boat and a jet ski. By 16 I had a 25-foot Boston Whaler.

Q. Have you always been in South Florida?
I went to college at the University of Central Florida. I came back to South Florida after taking a job in California and immediately got back into boating since I was back on the water again. Now, not only do I work with POP Yachts, but I buy boats that are junk and salvaged, and I fix them up and I sell them.

Q. What was your first sale as a broker?
A 2004 Contender 31 CC. And I still actually have a relationship with the person we sold it to, to the point where he has invited me to his house in the Keys in august for a week.

Q. It's all about building relationships, isn't it?
Yep, absolutely..

Q. What makes POP Yachts different than other yacht brokerages?
Transparency. We put everything out on the table. We supply Boat History Reports to every buyer so they can see its history. And because we're paid on performance, we don't have a listing fee. We offer exposure for free, and it gives us more incentive to work hard for the sale.

Q. What do you do for fun?
I don't do anything for fun because I'm also in law school at Nova Southeastern University.

Q. What do you like most about working for POP Yachts?
I don't have a set 9-to-5 with office duties so on certain days when I'm not in the field I can work from my house.
