Born and Raised on the 'Shore', schooled at SJS in Hagerstown, MD and Hampden-Sydney in Farmville, VA. BA in Economics, 2 years sabbatical in Jackson, WY and 2 years working a startup company as a door to door sales rep. I started selling Real Estate with the family firm in 1998 with a focus on waterfront, farms and estates.
Boating has been a passion from an early age with sailing programs and weekend regattas sailing a laser. Since the family bought a Swan 47 in 1992 (that summer was spent on the boat in Nantucket taking her apart and putting her back together...good summer) my offshore racing experience includes 8 Newport / Bermuda races, 5 Annapolis / Newport races and a number of deliveries to and from the Caribbean.
Fishing blew up as more than a hobby 10 years ago when I pawned my 21 Mako for a Mako 241 to reach the Canyons with twin power. In 2006 she was sold in favor of a new Albemarle 280xf with twin Yanmar diesels. With a 1,000 hours logged on this boat offshore, I have a real appreciation for a well made boat and systems that work.
Nowadays, life is centered near shore with my 2 and 4 year old boys, wife who works as an OR nurse and a network of waterfront property owners / boat owners and sportsman (and women) alike.
I get excited about boats and look forward to sharing my enthusiasm with the next qualified buyer or motivated seller. A good product at a good price will create its' own market.
