My love for boats stemmed from my childhood summers on Lake Tahoe tucked in the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Northern California. My passion for being in the nautical world didn’t really take off until my years in the US Navy. As one of the five Navigators aboard the USS Taylor I learned the art of Navigation while travelling to the far sides of the world. From the Caribbean to Cairo and then to the Middle East and back, I knew that after my days in the Navy I would end up pursuing a career in the marine industry. When my days on the open ocean ended I went back to school and completed my degree in Communications Studies (Marketing) at California State University. Ever since then I have been thoroughly enjoying my job with buyers and sellers locally and throughout the world!

In 2010 I decided I wanted to buy a Boston Whaler which would facilitate my needs in a better way than the boats I already owned. I was looking for a well maintained boat with low mileage, something that would be difficult to find on the Norwegian market. Consequently I started searching the net and found exactelly what I was after viz. a BW Outrage 210 with a 200 HP Mercury. I was introduced to Kevin who turned out to be a delightful guy, extremely helpful in any way and he understood my wishes and needs. Obviously, when putting a lot of money into some merchandise one has never seen, one has to be careful and that is where POP Yachts and Kevin Sigall proved to be A1. No lose ends, all questions asked were replied to quickly and of course they had all the experience necessary for exporting a boat to Europe. They knew in detail what was required by the Norwegian authorities. I felt comfortable and safe during the whole process and would like to recommend POPYachts and Kevin Stigall and of course all his colleagues I was in contact with, to anybody who is considering to buy a boat. I got my boat after the summer season in 2010 and have enjoyed it all of the 2011 season. Can't wait for the ice to break on the fjord..........

The people at POP Yachts are are first class. I have currently been working with Kevin Stigall on purchasing a new off shore boat for blue water fishing. I have had nothing but the best help from Kevin and the gang at POP Yachts. Friendly service and and good honest people, something you don't find at a boat brokerage anymore.

In 2011 i bought a Sea Ray 270 from USA using the services of Kevin and POP Yachts and i must say that Kevin and his staff did à great job and made my purchase feel easy and secure.

We wanted to take advantage of the Australian Dollar but had no idea on what was involved or where to start. Kevin and the team made sure all went smooth and we are now having a great time on our 29 ProKat. The boat was everything that we expected with no hidden surprises.

Although we haven't selected our boat, as yet, Kevin continues to patiently send us updates of those that might interest us. As our needs and plans change, he has kept up with sending us other ads that might "peak" our interest.
We began searching for a boat when we thought we wanted to "live aboard". Then changed from a sailing boat to a houseboat to a large future dock live-aboard. Now that we have decided to move into a house near a marina, we will be looking for a smaller boat. All this multitude of changes has not deterred Kevin from helping us. I am certain, Kevin will sell us a boat very soon. It is now over a year since my purchase of a Chriscraft Continental 433 through Kevin Stigall. The service I received far exceed my expectations and the boat was all I expected.

Over a year has past since my first investment a Proline 31 Walkaround from Kevin and Pop Yachts and the after sales service has been second to none. It was a daunting experience importing a boat to Australia sight unseen and the reassurrance, independent surveyors reports and shipping made the exercise seemless. My boat "Skylla" arrived in mint condition and it was a shame that the Aussies handling it in local transport were't as caring as the team at Popyachts. I have referred Kevin to over 10 people to invest in affordable boats with the confidence knowing that their needs will be exceeded. With the Australian dollar creeping past $108usc I will be buying another boat through him later this year.
