I have been floating longer than I’ve been walking! My boating days began at an early age as my parents had me on boats while I was still in diapers! My parents were avid boaters and both did tours of duty at the rank of Commander in our local Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 22-4. My Mom actually was the first woman Coast Guard Auxiliary Commander in NY!
I owned my first boat at the age of 12. I pooled money from my two paper routes and my lawn mowing business and bought my friend’s 13’ Boston Whaler (named her Wet n’ Wild!). I’m on boat number 13 now!
I spent 4 years in the Navy right out of high school It was at my last duty station, Boca Chica NAS, in the Florida Keys when my tour of duty ended. From the Keys, I moved to Miami and attended Miami-Dade Community College. I was a charter member of their newly formed Marine Science program It was there that I earned my Dive Instructor rating. I transferred to Long Island University’s Southampton College Campus where I continued my Marine Science training and earned my Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, with emphasis in Marine Chemistry.
After graduation from LIU Southampton, I found that the world wasn’t looking for Marine Chemists, but regular chemists were in demand. I entered the field of analytical instrument sales where I remained for close to 30 years! All thirty years put me in several different boats, where I continued the tradition of raising my kids on the water! I found my way to the boat business after “corporate America” put me out to pasture. It turned out to be the best thing that could ever have happened! I worked for the #1 Cruiser Yacht dealer in the world for nearly two years. Having found a true love in this business, I began my career with POPYachts in early 2011.
I derive a great deal of my enjoyment is this business by finding folks the perfect boat that is within their budget and satisfies the needs of the whole family. I shop for my customers as I would for my family or myself. I enjoy the “hunt” as much as I do assisting my customers with the negotiations. Having purchased 12 boats for my personal use has instilled me with skills borne of experience. Let me help you find your next dream boat!

Paul sounds like a great guy, and sounds like he knows boat. So I am feeling more confident as I have felt that he will have our boat sold and us in our new Carver Santego by early this summer. If anyone can do that Paul can!!!!
