The Sailing Vessel. “Agapi”, sloop and Langley Fabricators/Samaras built vessel is made of corten and steel including deck and superstructure. It started being built in 1975 and took 10 yrs to finish. Launched in 1985.
It has a center cockpit,
curved transom, raked stem and clipper stern. The hull has a keel hung
rudder, hard chine and constructed with 4 watertight bulkheads.
Generous accommodations are provided in this sailing vessel. The layout
includes the enclosed V-berth with full stowage under. Aft of the V-berth is
the enclosed head to port and hanging locker opposite to starboard, both
between partial bulkheads. The salon has an L-shaped settee port forward
and followed abaft by the L-shaped galley, Starboard forward of the salon is
the Nav. Station/desk followed aft by settee. The partial aft salon bulkhead
has a passageway on the starboard side which leads aft to the Master’s cabin.
The passageway also has a door to the engine room. The master cabin is well
appointed with a double berth as well as enclosed head and shower.
