I initially started researching importing a boat from the US for 6 months prior to contacting Pop Yachts. Although this was beneficial, it could not replace the professional research and advice provided to me from Popyachts. Kevin and Scott know the market very well and what is available. The 2601 Striper was presented to me exactly as described and I would not have this type of boat sitting on my pontoon now if it wasn't for these guys. I was a bit hesitant in working with a brokerage company as I had heard so many nightmare tales over the years. This, paired with the fact that I live in another country made me a bit skeptical about the whole situation but Kevin and his associates at POP did everything possible to set my mind at ease. They were extremely courteous, professional, and very easy to work with. After three months of searching, POP found me the perfect vessel to fit my needs and everyone there was extremely patient with me and my requirements. From the minute I sent POP my first email, Kevin made me feel as though I was his only customer and was always willing to answer any questions that I had in a timely manner. POP did all the legwork for me from finding me the right vessel, to setting up the Sea-trial/survey, to trailer fitting, shrink wrap, and lastly, shipping. I would highly recommend them to anyone (especially if you live outside of the U.S. as they do EVERYTHING for you) and will be using them again when it's time to upgrade to a larger boat. When I began working with Kevin last summer to purchase a boat, a lot of my friends asked why I would use a broker. After nearly a six month search, I am able to provide several sound reasons. The most significant reason being I really didn't know a lot about boats! I told Kevin what I wanted and what my budget was, and he took it from there. Kevin sent me pictures and information daily on boats from around the country that met my criteria. If I was interested, HE contacted the seller and gathered additional information for me. That brings the second reason it was worth working with a broker...I don't have time to do all the leg work involved in finding the perfect boat. Kevin worked hours for me which were mostly weekends and evenings when it was convenient for me. The last and most important reason was, when it came down to the sea test and purchase negotiations, Kevin was right there with me! His knowledge of mechanics and maintenance far exceeded mine and having someone by my side while negotiating purchase price was a HUGE benefit. Bottom line, Kevin and the team at POP Yachts made my search for a boat a GREAT experience!

I worked with the staff at POP Yachts to find my brand new 2009 Edgewater 265 CC. Not only did they guide me in the choice of boat but through their extensive contacts they found me the exact boat I wanted and secured a deal I just simply could not find myself.
