11/8" yellow cedar on 21/2" X 21/2" steam bent oak frames on 10" centers. Galv fasteners. Heavy scantlings; full length 2" X 6" bilge stringers (No known issues last two surveys) 10" X 14" X 29' oak keel with 24' 10" X 12" cast iron counterweight underneath. New keel bolts 1995.
Mast rebuilt 2011, Starboard side of pilothouse rebuilt 2010, new cockpit ceiling 2009, decks refinished to bare wood 2008. Exterior bright work refinished 5X varnish & sealed w/ latex deck covering. (GREY)

The galley is mid ships, on the right of the photo looking aft, (Port) is a two burner force 10 propane cook top athwart-ships and a stainless double sink running fore & aft on the Port side. Under the Port side deck there are two large stainless lines storage bins behind the sink that will hold 200 lbs of rice each. There is a dish shelve above the storage bin with a spice rack athwart ships. Under the sink are two additional storage areas.On the opposite side, (starboard) there is a stainless lined insulated cabinet with two shelve levels for refrigerated storage with an additional two (NOT stainless lined) storage bins behind that. There is a glassware shelve above the refrigerator box. On the left (forward) side of this cabinet are three drawers (6 X 12 X 24 ) for Kitchen utensils. The top drawer has a slide out cutting board above it. The flat counter top surfaces are solid Honduras Mahogany refinished with five coats of varnish. There are two Monell water tanks under the cockpit deck that hold a combination of at least 175 gallons bringing water to the Galley and the head. There is a beautiful English brass fire place in the Salon, it is nice for picnics, I have a stainless Dickinson "Alaskan" oil stove with a hot water coil that has not been installed.
She was designed to provide an experienced sailor with quality sailing time while also being able to close up and comfortably motor home with out having to beat her way back in the event of bad weather. The boat displaces 22,000 pounds so she is not a speed boat, she will do a reliable 6.5 to 7 knots heeled less than 10 degrees. The main sail can be used in three positions, with reefing winches and new reef lines. There is a complement of 20, 50,75,100,110,200% jibs and a spinnaker, with the 20% storm jib being fully reef-able. The sails are in good condition, with the main being in the best condition,they are adequate to serve in any coastal cruising situation. There are also several spare sails that are in need of repair before they could be used.
The mast has recently been out and reworked, the stainless standing rigging gone over and all through mast fittings re-bedded. The running rigging is all in good condition as are the pair of compound winches in the cockpit. all of the mast winches have been gone through in preparation for active for coastal cruising.
She sails herself in most breezes with little attention, the heavy brass ships wheel holds her on course with very little weather helm. She will sail into the wind to about 12 or 15 degrees before she stalls or comes about.
The vessel is an absolutely ideal coastal cruiser in addition to being completely unique.
