This Maxum has a great layout for cruising, living aboard or enjoying the sights.
The aft cockpit is covered and has plenty of room to entertain. There is a refrigerator and cockpit sink for convenience. You can go down the stairs to the large swim platform and take a dip in the water. There are two side entrances to the wide walkaround to get to the bow.
Go up a level and you have a large helm with plenty of seating to enjoy the views. The captain has a large array of gauges and switches to keep you on course. The reliable Cummins Diesel engines provide plenty of power and range. There is a large bimini top to keep you out of the elements.
Cool down in the spacious salon. It is nice and bright with plenty of windows. There is a large j shaped lounge seat for several guests and a dinette eat your meals. Step down to the galley. There is a full-sized refrigerator, freezer, stovetop, microwave and sink.
There are sleeping accommodations, fore and aft. The spacious forward stateroom has a private entrance to the forward head. There is plenty of storage and a hanging closet. The master aft suite has a large rear window to let in plenty of light and enjoy the view. There is a private head and separate shower stall.
The boat shows well. The bottom paint is fresh. the hull sides are freshly waxed. The topsides were nice and clean. No soft spots were found during the time of the photo shoot. The seller states that mechanically everything is running well.
The exterior has a bent stanchion on the starboard side. The anchor chain is rusty but useable. The shore power cord locker is cracked. There are usual signs of wear and tear, but overall for a boat this size, the hull looks fine.
The cabin was cool and clean. The upholstery looks in good condition. The salon carpet looked in good condition. The headliner was tight and clean. Both staterooms and heads were clean.
There are signs of previous water leakage around the portside window in the aft cabin. The cabinet in the salon was slightly damaged but usable. The sole in the galley is discolored.
The engine room was bright and clean. No noticeable smells or leaks. The engines looked great, with no visible signs of excessive corrosion.
