1988 Silverton 40 Aft Cabin in Patchogue, New York

This Silverton is a great boat for a live-aboard or families that want to have extended stays.

The aft deck is quite spacious and has more than enough room for indoor/outdoor furniture that can be used for afternoon lunch and cocktails.

When you ascend to the helm the first thing you will notice is the trio of pedestal chairs. You have one for the Captain, one for the First Mate, and an extra for a guest. This is the perfect vantage point for enjoying sunrises and sunset while underway.

The salon is very spacious and has L-shaped seating along with a coffee table. It is also replete with storage.

There is a step-down galley that has plenty of room to prepare meals. The adjacent dinette will comfortably sit four adults.

Both the forward and aft cabins have ensuite heads.

Information On Condition

This Silverton is in good condition for its age. Most of the fits and finishes look good. It just needs some TLC which is to be expected for a boat this age. Starboard engine sending unit to gas gauge needs repair. The generator may need repair.

Manifolds redone 2 years ago. New batteries. New safety equipment to meet Coast Guard standards. New dock lines. New windlass anchor motor installed last year.
