The Viking 44 Motor Yacht. Designed for fast and comfortable cruising

The interior--considered very elegant by 1980s standards--is an attractive blend of natural teak woodwork, designer fabrics and plush furnishings.

43" 4k Smart TV in Salon

Topside, there's plenty of space on the full-width aft deck for entertaining, and the flybridge is arranged with guest seating forward of the helm console. Additional features include wide side decks, and steel engine mounts.

This is a classic double cabin layout with a large flybridge. Access is gained from either side deck depending upon dockage or from the transom via a swim platform. There is a fish door on the transom, and has a hinged 5 step ladder with composite steps and not a logical entry point unless one is coming from the water.

The rear deck is large and positioned over the aft stateroom. Teak rails, a full hardtop and windscreens make this an excellent area for entertaining. Hinged Plexiglas doors are positioned to keep the wind and water from the side decks from entering the aft deck. Forward on the aft deck, to port, is an entertainment area with a Panasonic 24" flat screen TV and a small sink. To starboard, are two sets of molded fiberglass staircases for access to the flybridge and the main salon.

The main salon entrance is through a two-piece hinged Plexiglas door with locking hardware. Down a carpeted wooden staircase is the fully carpeted main salon. To port on the aft bulkhead is a flat screen TV. Forward, to port is a large pull-out couch with leather-like plush material and the sound system which is a tower made up of several different systems. Next is a built-in furniture break. The opposite side of the main salon has two padded drum chairs of matching material and a fixed furniture break to finish the area.

Carpeted panel in the floor gives access to the engine and other mechanical systems. Centerline between the furniture breaks is another staircase to the lower area.

A fully equipped galley is to starboard and a dining area is to port. Upholstery in the dining area matches that of the main salon.

Forward still is a fully enclosed head to port and a second stateroom. The v-berth is large and surrounded by teak cabinetry for storage. A Sharp 22" TV is positioned on the aft bulkhead. Forward still is the anchor locker.

Returning to the main salon, to starboard at the aft bulkhead is a staircase leading aft to the master stateroom. The master stateroom has ample storage, both hanging and drawer. On the forward bulkhead is a Sharp 22" TV. Also at the forward bulkhead is a second fully enclosed head.

Space is masterfully used in this layout so as to provide for entertaining or day to day activities. She shows like a much larger vessel.

Returning to the aft deck and up a fiberglass staircase with adequate handholds is the flybridge and helm station.

The flybridge is fitted with dual seats at the helm for comfortable, two person cruising. All controls lead to the bridge, which is equipped with a modern suite of electronic instruments. Visibility from the helm is good in all directions. Additional seating is forward of the helm. Forward still are storage cabinets holding the ship's safety equipment,

Information On Condition

Per a previous survey:

The vessel was found in very good condition given her age. The owner shows great pride in the improvements and condition of the vessel. Topsides and deck were found to be in good condition. Inspection of the deck found it firm with no soft spots. The vessel's hull, topsides, toe rails and decks were inspected with no sign of delamination. Upholstery, on deck and below deck, is in excellent condition.

The Brightwork has just been varnished with 2 coats.

A water trial was requested and performed. Temperature measurements of the engines at idle and several RPM points were taken as well as the readings from the gauges at the helm. All the readings showed the engines running at corresponding values.

You should of course conduct your own inspection and or Survey.
