This Classic Chris-Craft has been completely restored and refitted with an electric motor (see pictures). This electric motor was manufacted by Advanced D.C. Motors, Inc. (Syracuse, NY) and installed for light cruising. The original Hercules 3-carb KBL 131HP engine is a rebuildable unit and is included in the sale.
Because the seller knows the history of this boat and has overseen the restoration himself; this description will be mostly stated in the words of the owner.........
"The restoration started in the winter of 2012, was completed in September of 2013. The boat went into the water for about 3 hours at that point for testing, just to be sure that all of the gauges and controls were working correctly, as they had all been removed. It operated perfectly! The boat was completely stripped, re-fastened, re-plugged, and refinished to what you now see. The complete bottom, from the chines down, was professionally replaced just prior to me buying it in 2002. I might have a photo of that from the previous owner, but not sure that I can find it, but if you'd really like it, I'll try to dig it up. The boat has been sitting since right where you see it. I still have my lake house up there, and I'll be there in about three weeks to clean up the yard, etc. The boat is not registered now, and I won't put it in the water, because I'm only going there to get the lake house ready to list for sale."
Per the seller........
"Also included in the sale (for full price) will be six brand new, very expensive, deep cycle batteries (images 106, 107), and no, these are not golf cart batteries, but rather a marine quality battery that are going to cost me about $1500.00! It also includes the lake de-thaw pump, about 60 feet of underwater power cable that goes from shore power to the water-proof electrical box on the lift, the safety equipment in the boat and everything else that I have for the boat! I also have all of the original Chris Craft gauges that came out of the dash as well."
The trailer is included...in 2016 it got new tires, new wheel bearings, new lights, and complete new wiring, basically a rebuild and it has no rust.
The electric lift is also included, works perfectly and has a cover as well.
