This 1950 Chris Craft is in exceptional condition both mechanically and visually to the eye. This 1950 Sportsman underwent an earlier restoration 8 years ago with a 20-gallon fuel tank replacement. In 2020, she underwent a complete bottom, keel, and rib replacement. The bottom was replaced with 2 layers of high-quality Sapele plywood with 4 layer application of epoxy adding exceptional strength, integrity, and a solid ride. This is a true, no-soak bottom with no need to soak the boat in the water before using it every season.

During her 2020 restoration last year, her heartbeat, the original Chris Craft "K" engine was repainted in the classic Chris Craft blue and reinstalled with a thorough examination of the transmission to make sure her drivetrain functions with reliability and precision. This Chris Craft is strong, flexing her 95 HP muscle and provides an easy to enjoy cruising speed of 13-18 knots with ease for an enjoyable day with family and friends.

Upon completion of the new, no-soak bottom installation, the engine was installed with the transmission, and every component reassembled. During this restoration, the electrical system was upgraded from 6 to 12 volts, providing exceptional starting power and complete reliability of function. All electronics and lights work excellent.

The exterior and interior hull has been lavishly treated with a 12 layer application of Epiphany marine varnish making the deep, rich, mahogany hues, appear to be almost liquid to the eye. It is simply stunning to look at. The new owner will have the luxury of many admirers wherever OLD GLORY decides to play for the day. She proudly displays the stern flag/light and a Chris Craft bow pendant to put the beautiful finishing touch on this exquisite vessel.

Upon first look at the interior, you can see the wonderful blue upholstery replaced 6 yrs ago in exceptional condition and pleasing to the eye.
No imperfections will be found here with every seam and stitch displaying perfect symmetry and balance with an overall compliment to the interior mahogany hull.

A custom-fitted navy blue mooring cover fitted perfectly to her classic form is in exceptional condition with an estimated value of over $3K.

Her trailer, a 2019 Venture, is practically new, handling her only major trip, a journey from New Hampshire to Virginia, when the current owner bought her in 2019 and the bearing, tires, and lights performed perfectly and without any issues.
