Restored 1963 Chris Craft Roamer ready for the next owner to care for and appreciate as this one has. Purchased 17 years ago and has always enjoyed a freshwater life in the Midwest.
Such a joy to have a classic such as this with an aluminum hull. The top is fiberglass. Interior is gorgeous Chris-Craft hand-worked mahogany. New vinyl interior just last year ($1000).
The owner's inside and out restoration began in 2003 and includes sandblasting and painting the hull, removal of engines to replace the mounts, rebuilt alternator, new Holly carbs, water pumps, ceramic dripless shaft seal, and an upgrade to electronic ignition. The fuel tanks are galvanized.
According to the Seller: Twin Crusader 350s can do 44 MPH at 4,400 RPM. Engine information provided by the Seller and waiting on pictures to provide proof.
Has a custom made Loadmaster trailer. There is a freshwater tank, porta-potty, v-berth / dinette and the owner is including a suitcase portable air conditioner.
This 1963 Roamer has been stored indoors and has never been winterized by the current owner.
This is a nice example of a well-restored classic Chris Craft, and the included pictures are current and representative of the present condition.
