We're sorry to see this one go but check out some other options below.
This boat was delivered to and spent its life on a mountain like in the Colorado Rockies in a boathouse (lifted out after each use).
Current owners' roommate in college; who had owned a marina; bought it at a wooden boat show on the same lake, in the water and running.
It had never had a trailer, so he bought one and delivered it to the current owner in Pennsylvania. That was the only time this trailer had been on the road. Both the boat and trailer were always stored in a dry shop.
The boat was in great shape, but needed restored. The engine is a 75HP H engine (rare-very few built). All wood was in good condition but needed to be refinished and bottom caulked.
New stringers were installed in a type of mahogany that won't rot. New fasteners were used where needed in marine stainless or silicone bronze. Finished with 12 coats of Interlux. The boat was rewired (tank ins from engine). The restoration was finished in 2019. Black rubber flooring cut, but not installed and available if requested.
Extras Include: Original & individually numbered floorboards, Original steps, Original chines, Original oar and bumpers, Tune up kit, Original invoice, Bilge pump and blower, Original canvas top - changed to gold color. Never been in saltwater, but could be!
Overall restored condition is very good! Everything works properly and is correct. Most of the parts were bought from Classic Boat Connection. Seats have been reupholstered in heavy marine vinyl that looks like leather. All brightwork is original.
Trailer is in excellent condition, only one trip made from Colorado to Pennsylvania with no visible rust observed.
