1957 Thompson Sea Lancer Antique in Plymouth, Michigan

Thompson Bros. Boat began building lapstrake boats in the 1950's as they were lightweight but strong.

A perfect design to outfit with the increasing horsepower of the outboard motors.

This 1957 Thompson has been restored to her former beauty and ready to turn heads on the lake.

The Thompson lapstrake hull is a modified-V design.

The cockpit is simple yet functional.

The helm features a steering wheel, compass and throttle/shift control.

There are two wooden bench seats: one at the helm and the other aft.

There is a storage area beneath the foredeck with access from the helm bench.

Power to propel the boat is provided by a Mercury 40 HP outboard engine.

Information On Condition

Overall boat is in good condition.

Hull exterior is in good condition. Slight chip in lapstrake port side. Paint is good.

Bottom paint needs refreshing.

Interior wood was all redone and is in good condition.

Normal Seasonal Maintenance
