This Ranger 198 SVX is a clean, loaded, and fast bass boat, perfect for all-day fishing and tournaments too. The 198 SVX has big casting decks on the bow and aft ends with locking rod and tackle storage. The forward deck storage holds are lighted as is the deck overall. Two live wells with separate pumps and aeration keep the bait and catch fresh.
This one is nicely updated. The owner added two Lowrance HDS9 units at the helm and an HDS12 at the bow. All are networked and display side- and down-scan imagery. This Ranger has two 8' power pole anchors at the stern with remote and helm controls.
The boat is powered by a 200 HP Evinrude E-TEC HO engine that moves boat and crew up to 66 MPH. The bow-mounted Minn Kota Ultrex trolling motor is 36-volt and has i-Pilot navigation with remote control. Blinker jack plate and hotfoot controls make this Ranger a rocket on the lake!
This Ranger SVX is clean and recently updated. The boat has been used mostly on a trolling motor-only lake and the owner uses the 200 HP outboard two or three times per year on the Mississippi. Its 300-hour engine service was completed in 2020.
The gel coat has good reflection and minimal wear. The seating is in good shape with the exception of some cracking on one of the cockpit seats. The owner has a factory-matched replacement cover that is included in the boat sale. The cover has a small tear.
The Lowrance units were installed recently. The Minn Kota trolling motor was recently serviced and all of the batteries are recent.
The engine trim blinker control is out, the engine trim on the throttle functions normally.
