This beautiful 2015 Carolina Skiff 258 DLV is located near New Orleans, LA in the town of Destrehan.
Carolina Skiff is well known for the wide, shallow and solid hull that can take a pounding. Because of their long-lasting ability to withstand hours of daily use, they are among the top selections by coastal commercial fishermen everywhere.
This unit was built with the sport fisherman in mind.
The wide 8' beam is perfect for bay and lake use. The minimum 6" draft is great for fishing flats and shallow areas, while the overall size easily takes the chop in open bays and lakes, on windy days.
The boat has a well-planned layout. In the rear of the boat, there is a raised casting area with recessed compartments for batteries and electronics, access to the bilge, deep storage with drains, and live well. There are also two comfortable fold-down seats.
The center of the boat has a well-cushioned leaning post with stainless steel hardware and rod holders.
The center console has a stainless steel steering wheel, trim tab controls, Lowrance, and large gauges. Under the leaning post is storage space for a 45-quart ice chest.
In front of the console is a well-cushioned seat with cushioned back rest.
The step-up bow has a large casting platform with recessed compartments. There are 2 large storage compartments with drains and an anchor locker.
This boat is in beautiful condition. No minor scuffs or scratches were noted while viewing the exterior of the boat. The underside is smooth and scuff free.
The interior is very clean with some small signs of usage.
The trailer shows no signs of rust or corrosion.
The seller said all electronics work as they should.
