1937 Herreshoff John G Alden Bermudan Yawl The Sailing Yacht Evening Star is design #0638 from John G. Alden, created in 1936 and built by the Herreshoff Manufacturing Co., Bristol, Rhode Island, USA in 1937. She is rigged as a Bermudan Yawl and was constructed for Frederick Ford of Detroit. She is the only boat Herreshoff Mfg. Co. built that wasn't designed by a Herreshoff and one of the very last, if not the last, boat the company built during Nathaniel Herreshoff's lifetime.
