Boston, first incorporated as a town in 1630, and as a city in 1822, is one of America's oldest cities, with a rich economic and social history. What began as a homesteading community eventually evolved into a center for social and political change. Boston has since become the economic and cultural hub of New England. Boston is home to a diversity of neighborhoods, restaurants, museums, venues, and shopping districts. Although the City is compact, don't let it fool you: there are plenty of places worth a visit. There's a ton to do on land here, and over 2,500 acres to do it in - including hiking and biking through natural forest and such. But what makes a sunny day on shore even better? Floating, of course! Spot Pond Reservoir has lots of beautiful water to explore, and makes for a great place to fish for trout and bass (just make sure to get your license first)! If fishing is not your game, well there are 3 islands to explore with lots of birds and other animals running around - so keep your eyes peeled!
