For example, the self-bailing anchor locker at the bow not only includes a liner, but also a telescoping ladder that makes it possible to board the boat from the front similar to a typical and larger deck boat. The engine compartment is wide open and easy to get to, and there is a large sun pad atop the engine compartment, but to save wear and tear by boarders, the starboard section of that pad hinges up nicely to reveal a no-slip, walk-through channel, especially kind to the infirm.
