he tiny city of Harrison, Idaho is the perfect getaway, where people come to relax and have fun with family and friends on south end of Lake Coeur d'Alene. Harrison is known as a favorite place for boating, floating, fishing, swimming, cycling, and sightseeing. There is also live music and dancing on summer nights when local hot spots have bands on weekends and holidays. Harrison has public docks, a boat launch, shoreline campground, sandy beach, and relaxing, friendly atmosphere. (You can rent the Jetovator shown in the video at HI Water Adventures). Many people arrive by boat and take advantage of free moorage at the docks (48 hr. limit). When you're not on the water or the recreational trail, there's dining on a deck overlooking the lake, local wine tasting, historic museum, art gallery, ice cream shop, shady park with playground, and fun places to shop, all within an easy walk of the lake and trail.
