Kingsland Georgia - Oprah's Lovetown USA! Known as the City of Royal Treatment, Kingsland strives to give visitors and residents alike that good feeling in a small town atmosphere with access to big-city amenities. From its location near Interstate 95, Kingsland is a hub for those looking to experience the coastal area's attractions, such as Cumberland Island National Seashore, Crooked River State Park or Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. The city has a welcome center off Interstate 95 Exit 3 that houses information about the city and Camden County, attractions throughout the region as well as local art and Georgia-grown produce, such as jams and honey. Incorporated in 1908, Downtown Kingsland features buildings from the 19th century, and its brick sidewalks lined with quaint streetlights justify its position on the National Register of Historic Places. Downtown is also home to Kingsland's Veterans Memorial Park featuring monuments for each branch of the armed forces, statues and a brick walk honoring those that have served.
