Located near Seattle, Washington, this 1927 Wilmington Boat Works Custom 96 has a great and extensive American history. This vessel has the longest US Government ownership in history, was an on-board meeting place for Winston Churchill and Herbert Hoover, and was US Navy patrol boat Q109 in WWII on the waters of Puget Sound. She was subsequently commissioned as a US Government research vessel when the USGS bought the Polaris in 1964, transforming her to a marine laboratory.
