The 2016 Cobalt CS3 is a great day boat with seating for up to 12 passengers. It possesses many innovative design features like the flip-down swim step. It is also a solid build boat with a Kevlar reinforced hull.
The swim platform is covered with a smart looking non-slip covering that doesn't get hot.
You can enter the cockpit from the port or starboard side from the swim platform with the engine hatch/sun pad centered in between.
The bow area is equipped with forward facing lounge seats port and starboard complete with grab handles. There is also a forward seat. All three seat bases have storage beneath.
The walk-thru windshield with windscreen provides protection for the passengers sitting in the cockpit.
The helm seat is adjustable.
On the dash is a Rockford Fosgate stereo head unit. The stereo is connected to JL Audio amplifiers. There are gauges for fuel, engine temp, volt and tilt. There is also a tachometer and speedometer.
The port side lounger has a back rest that can be flipped forward to create a rear facing ski spectator seat or flipped to create a forward facing passenger seat.
There is a glovebox with an audio input, USB input and 12V plug inside. A grab bar is also provided.
Twin facing bench seats, both with storage below the seat base, are located on the port and starboard side of the CS3.
The tower features a pylon, JL Audio rear facing speakers and an integrated Bimini top. The tower can be folded down.
The entire flooring is updated sea grass material for a cool feel on bare feet.
An in-floor locker between the helm and passenger seating will provide massive storage for boards and other water toys.
The overall condition of the 2016 Cobalt CS3 is very good.
The hull was in very good condition with no scratches or cracks detected.
The interior was found to be in very good condition with no rips, tears or stitching issues detected.
