With its sporty crisp lines this 2014 Glastron GTS 205 is sure to turns heads. The Glastron will seat up to 9 passengers with an innovative seating configuration making it a great day boat. The little extras like an extended swim platform and accessible engine compartment for maintenance will deliver a great ownership experience.
The stylish appearance of the 2014 Glastron GTS 205 is enhanced with the red and white gelcoat finish and red and white upholstery with grey cockpit carpet. A pair of bolster seats for the Captain and passenger are positioned behind the walk-through windshield.
The helm dash houses stylish gauges and switches to run and monitor the Glastron. A Humminbird Helix 5 with GPS-fishfinder and has been added to the helm.
In front of the passenger seat is a glovebox with a stereo head unit with Aux input and a 12v plug.
The aft bench seat integrated beverage holders and grab bars to either side. The designers of the Glastron have made some excellent updates to the aft bench.
The starboard seat bottom can be slid into the engine compart to reveal a step with non-slip that opens into a storage area. In addition, the aft sun pad is hinged and provides a walkway so that you are not "stressing" the vinyl when walking from the swim platform to the cockpit.
The port side cushion can be extending to form an L-shaped aft lounge. These are features that will actually be used because of the ease of use.
The bow seating is comfortable and has storage beneath the seat cushions with an anchor locker located beneath the center bow cushion.
An in-floor locker provides a lot of additional storage for water toys.
The aft sun pad also has a hinged portion that when not fully open to provide a walkway. It can be configured as a headrest. The sun pad/engine cover is hinged on gas-assist struts to make sure the hatch stays open. There is lots of room to gain access to the engine for maintenance.
The MerCruiser 4.3L MPI engine is clean, runs great, and has low hours.
The extended swim platform with swim ladder provides easy access to the GTS 205 and adds an extra place to hang out while anchored.
The overall condition of the 2014 Glastron GTS 205 is good. The hull gel coat was found to be clean and in good condition. There was a small chip above the water line and a little "rash" on the hull decal (not into gel coat).
The interior upholstery was found to be in good condition with no rips or tears with exception of a small pinhole in the driver seat. Canvas was found to be in good condition with rips or tears.
