Maxum is known for its fine construction to hold up for the marine environment. The Maxum 2500 SE is an excellent water-activity boat for the active family and their friends.
She is a lot of boat with little length. The interior room is well balanced with the length of the boat to allow maneuverability without climbing over each other. The onboard conveniences allow entertaining family and friends or just family for a long weekend on the water.
Below deck the interior layout included the immediate necessities; there's not much else that can be done once you've designed in comfortable bow and aft cabin sleeping areas, a properly equipped micro-galley and an adequately-sized head with shower.
Her size is very nimble and active on the water to be responsive to tow float tubes or simply maneuvering in the harbor.
There is a bimini top to get out of the sun or protected under weather. At the stern there is a wide bench that easily converts to a sun lounger. At the bench's starboard edge there is a swing gate creating easy boarding access from the large swim platform.
With this "Pocket Cruiser" you will appreciate some of the well-laid-out cockpit detail features, like the built-in wet bar, the snap-out carpet and the innovative seating layout.
The boat is exceptionally clean and looks great. Upholstery is covered and protected with no sun damage or tears observed. Decking and hull observed in good condition with no crazing or cracks throughout.
Some minor superficial dock rash on the aft quarter sides, not structural damage, was observed.
