The Kantola 34 Catamaran is a unique fiberglass over wood construction and can be a great daysailer in its current condition.
Stepping on board you find twin captain seats on each side that allow the captain to stay on the high side whenever he or she tacks.
The boat is sloop-rigged and the sheet lines are led back to the cockpit and can be easily handled by the captain or a mate.
The Yamaha 15 HP engine is a more recent addition and has very low hours on it. There is a hatch in the cockpit that opens to start and operate the engine.
As you enter the cabin from the cockpit you see straight on the dinette to the starboard a VHF radio and an ice box and two burner stove. To port, you find the sink and cabinets below. As you step port or starboard past the stove and sink you will see access to the hulls. Not built but looking very similar to what it might have looked like when it was built.
On the Starboard aft hull, there is a toilet but it is not plumbed and there is no waste tank.
Forward in the Port hull you have the anchor locker with chain, and rode for the anchor attached on the port hull deck.
The trampoline is newer and is currently being tied back on the boat.
This boat should be considered a project boat considering all the flaking of paint on the hull, deck, and superstructure taking into consideration it is a wooden hull and superstructure.
The autopilot and electric motor do not work at present, the issues are not known.
There is no water tank, there is no waste tank, and at present, there is no battery onboard.
