The 1981 Boston Whaler Outrage was part of a new generation of Whalers with a modified-V hull design. It was designed to provide a smooth, dry ride along with Boston Whaler's famous lateral stability.
This Whaler was re-powered with a 2015 150 HP Evinrude E-TEC engine.
It has teak-trimmed Center Console with a hard T-top, electronics box, and a leaning post with rocket launcher rod holders. There are single spreader lights forward and aft on the T-top. There is a cooler with a seat cushion forward of the console.
The gunwales are teak capped with flush-mounted rod holders and hawsepipes to below deck cleats. Up forward there is a stainless steel bow rail, two bench seats with cushions, storage underneath, in-deck anchor locker, and a storage compartment. The rub rail is capped by a heavy-duty bumper and the vessel is equipped with a tow bar as it was used as a tender.
The interior finishes of this vessel, fiberglass, teak, and aluminum need some restoration work. The owner is using external fuel tanks since the condition of the built-in tank is unknown.
As with all older vessels, all electrical equipment and gauges should be tested for proper operation.
The engine is clean and in good condition. Actual hours are unknown.
