Head out offshore or hit the bays and sandbars with this updated NauticStar 2000 Offshore! This center console has seating for its rated 8 passengers in the bow, in the forward console seat and at the helm leaning post. The large T-top holds an electronics box and a T-bag. A GPS unit and a Standard Horizon Explorer VHF radio are installed.
For fishing, rod holders and rocket launchers surround the aft deck and the bait well is centered at the transom within easy reach. This boat has updated SeaDek in front of the leaning post, SeaDek trays on top of the helm console, and matching coaming pads on the gunwales.
A nice deep privacy compartment is accessed through a port-side console door with room for changing, storage or for the next owner to add a porta-potty. The compartment also provides access to the backside of the helm for maintenance and installing components.
The tandem-axle trailer is included in the boat sale.
This NauticStar 2000 Offshore is a nicely-equipped and updated center console. The gel coat on the freeboard was in nice shape overall with good shine and reflection. The decks and cockpit of the boat were generally good and had dust from the storage yard. The T-top and T-top canvas looked great and the T-bag is a valuable addition. Upholstery at the bow, the console seat, and the leaning post was intact and had nice color. Gauges at the helm were updated and had clear bezels. The speedometer is not functioning, the owner uses the GPS to monitor speed. The forward spotlight and the starboard green nav light were not functioning.
The Yamaha 4-stroke engine runs great, the owner confirms. The tandem-axle trailer is used for local storage and to launch the boat. The tires are older and will need to be replaced to travel long distances.
