1987 Pursuit 2550 For Sale

The Pursuit 2550 is a center console fishing boat that is set up to do it all. The large deck space provides 360-degree access to the water for fishing and this owner pulls two wakeboards with this versatile boat as well.

Beneath the wide-open forward deck is the 2550's hallmark cuddy cabin with a V-berth to sleep two and a space for a porta-potty.

This Pursuit is outfitted for fishing with a T-top with canvas-style canopy and a Grady-White leaning post and baitwell. The baitwell sits out of the way of the aft fishing areas and is filled by a Tsunami seawater pump. Tackle storage is also in the leaning post.

Rod holders surround the deck as does under-gunnel rod storage. Rocket launchers are mounted on the backrest of the leaning post. The owner currently has the backrest detached but it can be remounted depending on the next owner's preference.

Atop the console are Lowrance Hook 7 and Elite 5 GPS-fishfinders. Engine gauges are updated on both sides of the helm station.

Twin Mercury 150 Saltwater Series outboards power this Pursuit up to almost 50 mph, the owner confirms, and the 190-gallon fuel tank goes the distance.

This Pursuit 2550 has been well-used and used well. The deck space and console show signs of an active fishing boat. The forward deck appeared solid and some fiberglass repairs were noted on the hull as shown in the photos.

The owner confirms the electronics are working as expected, the boat's three batteries were replaced in 2020, and the twin engines are a powerful addition to the boat and run well. The water pressure gauge is not functioning.

The T-top was missing some crossbars under the canopy when the boat was purchased. These have been filled in with plastic tubes. Extra material for the canopy is included with the boat sale.

The sunset-colored wrap on the hull is loose or torn in some spots. The next owner may choose to replace the wrap or remove it altogether.
