The Wellcraft 222 Fisherman is a versatile center console boat that has a big following in the boating world. This popular hull design gives a comfortable ride for the serious angler while also letting the family enjoy its friendly design features.
This is a very balanced boat with the 150 HP Yamaha 4-stroke engine and it comes with a nearly-new aluminum trailer for easy towing with the half ton pickups so many people own today.
The cockpit has a leaning post for two with a 72-quart cooler underneath. The Captain has a good view forward over the dash that provides access to control every function of the boat. Fourteen toggle switches with breakers, the displays for the Yamaha engine monitor, and the Garmin navigation-fishfinder. And, the shift/ throttle control for the Yamaha is handy to the stainless steering wheel.
Moving to the bow there is a huge console storage area with room for whatever the owner wants to keep dry. The bow area has cushions to give passangers a comfortable place to stretch out.
There's also storage available for the different rods fishermen like to carry under the gunwales and the many rod holders in the rocket launcher and console rod holders.
The seller states all systems function as expected. The hull is ding-free and the gel coat shines with a fresh wax job.
