Unique jet drive, aluminum catamaran crew boat with space for 38 passengers and 2 crew. The vessel is fully welded aluminum alloy plate with a flush deck and a raised wheelhouse forward with 360-degree visibility. There is a second steering station on the aft deck. The hull is an asymmetric catamaran with fine entry bows and a medium deadrise single chine section aft and is specifically designed for waterjet propulsion.
Propulsion is provided by two Iveco 8061 SRMR25 diesel engines rated at 250hp each. The engines have independent fuel and electrical systems and are fresh water cooled with heat exchangers. Each engine is attached to the Hamilton Model 273 jet drives by 1:1 gearboxes and cardan shafts. The jet drives allow outstanding maneuverability with vectored thrust and the ability to go from full forward to full reverse at any RPM without a mechanical gear change. Flush fitting engine hatches allow for general maintenance or removal.
This vessel has twin alloy 135 gallon fuel tanks which provide fuel to the engines via primary water/particle filters and secondary particle filters. Fuel lines are drawn stainless steel including return lines and breather lines. The tanks are fully baffled internally and feature top mounted inspection plates.
