1971 Bristol 34 Cruiser Sailboat in Melbourne, Florida

Stock #150355

Located in Melbourne, Florida, this 34-foot used Bristol is a great cruising sailboat.

Bristol Yachts was founded in Bristol Rhode Island by Clint Pearson in 1964 after he stepped down as president of the Pearson Yachts. He then purchased the assets of Sailstar Yachts, another manufacturer of small sailboats in the area, and also bought the Poppasquash Point boat yard and the land on Franklin Street to establish a manufacturing plant.

There he built the first new models like the Bristol 27, designed by Carl Alberg. In one year 172 Bristol 27's were built. Then came the Bristol 29, 32 and this 34 designed by Halsey C. Herreshoff.

This Bristol 34 has a moderate overhang, and flares at the bow. A large bow pulpit that incorporates the anchor roller, and anchor.

This boat is built like other Bristol Sailboat with a solid fiberglass Hull, and balsa-cored-decks. It is above average when you talk about quality of build.

Head out confidently on to the water with rebuilt 51 HP Perkins 4108 diesel engine on board. It will also help you find your favorite spot when you need it.

This boat has been a live-a-board to the seller and can be a good starting sailboat to someone who is looking for a solid hull boat.

The galley is equipped with an icebox as well as a stove/oven combo.

There is sleeping room for 4 on this 34 and the head has a 50 gallon holding tank with 100 gallons of fresh water.

This boat is Priced to sell and the seller is looking for a quick sale. The seller is very motivated and will consider any reasonable offer.

For a showing or to place an offer call or text the number below or email the email address. Or call your personal representative.
