In 1954, Tom Green, Merle Starr, Wade Cornwell, Jarvis Gould and Henry Morton used a new material called fiberglass to build large sailboat hulls with their company, Yacht Constructors. Their hull strength is legendary. The final test was done by shooting bullets from different firearms at the hulls from a 10-foot range. This "bullet-proof" sample is still on display at company headquarters.

The strength comes from using woven roving and cloths, laying each piece in and wetting it out with resin followed by hand squeegeeing excess resin to keep the resin content low.

The Cascade 42 is widely recognized as a competent world cruiser and this boat is fitted out with everything one would need. Redundant electronic systems with 2 networks, water maker, solar array, center cockpit with discreet aft cabin with head.

Updated mainsail with lazy jacks. Roller furling headsail, spinnaker with pole, genoa, and staysail.

Dinghy included: 2011 with Lehr 5 HP Motor
