The C&C 36 are fantastic and sought-after recreational keelboats. Extremely well built, with sleek lines and wooden trim. The vessel is a masthead sloop rigged with a furling headsail. She has a reverse transom and internally mounted spade-type rudder.

This C&C 36 is a beautiful and comfortable vessel to spend time cruising or racing with family and friends, sailing single-handed, or enjoying long-distance travel. She has beautiful classic lines and a great color combination both inside and out. You would not think you were on a boat that is 42 years old. She is regularly raced and has many first-place trophies to prove it.
When entering the cabin, you will notice the well laid out interior with lots of space and seating for many guests. The boat has a V-Berth and aft Quarter Berth with additional berths in the middle of the main cabin. The head is located just aft of the V-Berth. Further aft is the Galley with stove/oven and icebox to the port and a Nav Station starboard.
The cockpit is comfortable and functional. The pedestal steering is well placed with GPS/Plotter and full instrumentation & compass in clear view. There is a comfortable seat for the helmsman and ample cockpit seating for crew or guests.
Powered by a freshwater cooled Yanmar 30 HP diesel inboard and sails that include a mainsail, two spinnakers, four jibs, and a staysail. Also included in the sale is a 155 racing sail and a 110 sail for over 20 knots. Seller reports all sails are in good to excellent condition.
The running and standing rigging are all in good condition and meticulously maintained by the owner. Upgrades include new solid rigging and Harken double-track roller furling system.

The boat is in very nice condition for a 1978 model. The seller has owned it for over 27 years and takes pride in meticulously maintaining the vessel. He and his family have enjoyed many trips to the Florida Keys and Dry Tortugas. The seller reports the boat is in top sailing shape and that everything is in working order. All mechanical and working parts of this boat are constantly attended to and the bottom is cleaned Biweekly to accommodate an almost weekly racing schedule.
Seller also states that the owner's manuals, receipts, maintenance logs pictured are just a sampling of the extensive records he has maintained for the past 27 years. In addition, there are lots of spare parts, shackles, etc. available to the new owner.
