Head out confidently onto the water with a 9.9hp Mercury Pro Kicker engine on board as a backup to the Jib and Mainsail that has taken the owners on many adventures to Catalina and Two Harbors. She also has a dinghy with a small motor included. (See Photos)
The Palmer engine under the hatch needs some work but is not said to be too much. It is worth fixing!
Very importantly, this unit has a ceiling height of 7' in the salon and galley. In the rest of the areas, the height drops down to 6'6". This is wonderful for all you tall folks who have trouble finding a sailboat with this height!
With ample room to sleep 7 comfortably, which includes a bunk bed that converts in a salon setee, the V-berth, a quarter berth starboard, and the large dinette converts into sleeping for two! spend the night aboard your Columbia sailboat at your favorite waterfront spot in Catalina. It would even make a nice live-aboard! This sailboat boasts a great BBQ if you catch some fish while out on the water.
The sellers have been to Catalina Island about a dozen times with the boat. They said it takes them about 6 hours to get there from their dock in Long Beach. This 34 MKII has lots of space and basic amenities necessary for cruising by a crew or small family.

She looks rough and needs a deep cleaning inside and out. With all of that aside, she does however seem to have great bones and is structurally sound.
There is no evidence of any leaking. The walls, windows, chainplates do not show any evidence of current or past leaking.
There is one soft spot about 8 inches by 8 inches on the Starboard side of the bow.
The inboard diesel engine is not running and needs the exhaust system repaired. It is a Palmer M-60 which is a 22 HP engine.
All berths and interior seating have cushions in good condition.
There is no stove or oven but the boat does have a BBQ.
There is a full head that needs the shower to be hooked back up as the current owners do not shower on the boat.
