The 1973 Ranger 23 is a small lightweight cruiser with a surprisingly large amount of space in the salon. There is not much in the way of amenities, but one could be comfortable inside both lounging and sleeping.
The house battery is recharged with a solar panel located near the stern. It powers the navigation lights and an electronic depth instrument.
There is a butane-fueled tabletop stove and a porta-potty onboard. The cockpit area has a surprising amount of storage given the size of the boat.
The boat could use a little housekeeping. a compound and wax and metal polishing would approve the appearance of the boat.
The wood on the boat is in decent shape and the windows and hatches, which provide lots of light, do not have any leaks.
