1999 Chaparral 2335 SS For Sale

In 2017 a Reman Mercruiser 5.7L Long Block was installed in this Chaparral 2335 SS.

Less than 30 hours on the long block since install and only 344 total engine hours on boat since new!

The 2335 model offers you the overnight accommodations and cabin amenities of a cruiser, as well as performance and styling of a sport boat.

The cockpit features a captains chair with bolster. The companion seats convert to a lounger and provide some storage underneath.

Aft there is a full beam bench seat and small sun pad.

The swim platform features a transom shower and swim ladder.

The 2335 SS is equipped for entertaining or overnighting with a large V-berth, a removable dinette table, sidewall storage, a mini galley and pump-out porta potty.

Unlike most boats of this size, the portable head is housed in a private compartment in the starboard bulkhead.

There is also a portside bulkhead window in the cabin for added ventilation and light.

The boat has some normal wear and tear found in most 1999 boats. I noticed some dock scrapes on the hull sides and the cabin headliner is sagging in some areas. Headliner can be seen in cabin photos.

Transom bench seat needs minor vinyl repair.

The cockpit cover and bimini top appear to be in good condition as well for the year. The cover is missing some snaps.

The horn, navigation lights, trim/trailer gauge and speedometer are not working. VHF and new flairs needed.

The cabin needs a thorough cleaning. Carpet and porta potty may need replacing, or deep cleaning.

Cabin lights not functioning.

Needs new bottom paint if going to be kept in the water.

Stereo does not power up consistetly.

Water pump for pressurized water system does not power up. Incestigate and repair or replace as necessary.

Gimbal bearing has excessive wear, needs to be repaired or replaced.

Steering shaft shows some steering play between
the gimbal ring and the steering shaft when the outdrive is moved. There should be no play. Inspect and repair or replace.

Hull is chalky. Needs to be polished.
