The 1989 Sea Ray 260 Cuddy Cabin or CC is in great shape despite her age. You can tell the original owner takes great pride in caring for the boat. The 260 CC is a deep vee hull configuration providing a solid and comfortable ride, perfect for a day of water sports. The cockpit is roomy and accommodating with seating for up to 7 or 8 passengers. The cuddy cabin is large enough to sleep two.
Entering the boat from the integral swim platform, which is equipped with a stainless-steel swim ladder, you step over the backrest onto the rear bench seat. The aft bench seat can accommodate 3-4 passengers. The bench seat has a removable cushion. It is hinged at the top of the back rest and doubles as the engine hatch cover.
The cockpit has plenty of room to move about even with passengers seated. Forward of the aft bench, you'll find two back-to-back seats to starboard and port. Both seats have a lever to allow the seats to fold down into a lounge. Beneath each is a storage compartment. Between the two seats is an in-floor storage area. The cockpit has snap in carpet as well as side panel storage on either side. There are three 12-volt adapters to plug in, two on either side of the aft bench and one at the helm. Additional LED lighting has been added to illuminate the cockpit at night. An internal boarding ladder provides safe access into the cockpit and can be affixed to either port or starboard.
The helm station features a stainless-steel steering wheel. The dash gauges consist of a tachometer, speedometer, volt, oil pressure, trim indicator, oil temperature, and gas. There is a Richie dash mounted compass as well a Humminbird TCR ID 1 fish finder. For communications on the water, the boat is equipped with a Uniden MC 690 VHF radio.
As you enter the cuddy cabin, you'll find a settee on the port and starboard side with storage above each. The V-Berth is roomy enough for two adults and is complete with filler cushions. Below the V-Berth is a Porta-potty with locking brackets (did not see as stored for winter off the boat). There are two hull windows on the starboard and port sides which allow in light. Above the V-Berth is a translucent deck hatch that opens to allow in fresh air.
You can access the foredeck from the deck hatch in the cabin or by using the gunnel on either side. The foredeck has an anchor lock with hatch and a dual trumpet horn. The foredeck is relatively flat and makes it easy to work the anchor. There is a stainless-steel bow rail that surrounds the foredeck for added safety.
Opening the aft bench/engine cover, you'll find the Mercruiser 7.4L V8 power plant that is connected to a Bravo One lower unit turning a stainless-steel prop. There are dual batteries on a battery switch found on the lower front of the aft bench. The engine compartment is equipped with a fire suppression system and Mercathode to help protect against Galvanic Corrosion.
It has the two full canvas tops. One that covers the front of the cockpit and the second covering the aft portion. The seller opted for the camper package, so it does have the sides, front, and back. The boat does not have a cockpit cover.
In 2016 a new stereo head unit and speakers installed along with LED lighting.
It comes with an EZ Loader tandem trailer. The trailer features an electric winch and the roller bunks for easy loading/unloading.

Overall condition of the boat is very good.
The hull exterior is almost flawless with no scratches or gouges detected.
The upholstery in the cockpit is fair to good. The removable aft bench seat was dirty and little worn. The upholstery on the backrest of aft bench had a few cracks in it but was in fair to good condition. The upholstery on the back to back seats was in good condition with no real visible cracks or tears. The upholstery on the port aft facing seat appears to becoming loose where it is tucked and connected to the seat. Combing upholstery was in good condition.
The cuddy cabin fabric covering the settee's and the V-Berth filler cushions was in good shape as was the cuddy carpeting. The headliner was clean and in good condition.
All electric components were in working condition.
The boat comes with the full camper canvas option consisting of two top canvas, sides, front and back. The canvas has never been used on the boat and he eventually removed the tubing and canvas from the boat as it was used to fish and it got in the way. I could not survey the condition as it was stored. There is one piece of tubing that needs to be fixed to secure to the deck hardware.
Snap in carpet was a little worn but functional.
The trailer appears to be in good shape with some rust spots found. Tires on trailer appear in good condition.
Storage doors/covers in cuddy cabin need to be reattached.
Skeg has a slight dent/chip in it
