Recently arrived in Key West from the Pacific Coast, she has the following features. Start with a reliable Pathfinder VW 1.6 diesel 55 horsepower engine, a Max-Prop Classic low drag 3-blade propeller, 3-G radar, solar panels, and wind generator.
Also includes an EPIRB and a hydraulic backstay.
The Choate 44 is live-aboard ready with all of the needed amenities including a full size 20 cu ft refrigerator/freezer.
Currently used as a live-aboard cruising boat. Per the owner, the boat is in overall good shape and the features of the boat and the engine are working as expected and with no major issues. This vessel is in need of a bottom job and some other cleaning and overdue maintenance.
