Originally a Great Lakes boat, this rare cutter-rigged CP35 is in excellent shape and set up for an adventure. Wonderful condition inside and out. The wide 11 foot 10 inch beam and abundant headroom allows for comfortable full-time liveaboard. Dual cabins with a separate head. Hot and cold water. A second shower is installed at the transom. The full galley and spacious salon feel like home.
Set up for single-handed sailing and all lines run back to the cockpit (even set 1st and 2nd reef!). Coastal cruising and island-hopping capable with the 4ft shoal draft. She runs a 46% keel ratio with a Scheel keel for excellent sailing in any wind direction. Powered by a Westerbeke 30hp, motor easily at 6.5 knots for 0.75 gals/hour fuel burn or dial it back to 5 knots at 2300rpm and sip a half gallon an hour. There is a freshwater flush kit installed on the motor. There's a fuel polishing system and anchor windlass
Sails include a main in excellent shape, a spare "get home" main, roller furling 140% genoa, staysail, 2 storm sails and a Hood tri-sail.
Life lines have been replaced. All rigging is original but appear to be in excellent condition. The backstay is hydraulic.
Electronics include RADAR, autopilot with remote, AIS, GPS, plotter, and sonar. There is a VHF radio with remote at helm. A Single Side-Band is installed behind the flat panel TV in the main salon. A CD stereo system plays music inside and on-deck. A flip-down DVD player is mounted in the forward cabin.
There is a new battery charger installed, a 140 watt solar panel and controller keeps the 4 AGM batteries topped off. The owner will be including a quiet-operation Honda 2000watt portable generator too. Lots of extra spare equipment and parts for redundancy offers peace-of-mind on any bluewater journey.
