1983 Heritage West Indies 36 Cutter Sailboat in Miami Beach, Florida

Heritage West Indies 36 is a 4' shoal draft aft cockpit cutter rig masthead sloop, designed by Charley Morgan.

Well designed, spacious, and strongly built West Indies 36 is also quite rare, only 40 hulls have been produced.

Sails include a 3-batten 384 square feet main, a new 16 OZ 150% genoa on a roller. There is a spinnaker pole and a second halyard for the cutter jib.

There are two main gunwales mounted, and two smaller cabin top mounted Lewmar winches.

Auxiliary power is provided by a 30HP Westerbeke Universal diesel with 793 hours, just serviced.

Equipment includes Raytheon autopilot, compass, VHF radio, Sony Bluetooth stereo, smart battery charger, DC to AC converter, two solar panels with smart controller, propane water heater, anchor windlass.

New cockpit Flexiteek and Komacel cockpit hardtop just installed. Cockpit cushions are quite decent.

Below you will find wide, open layout with plenty of light and beautiful woodwork with freshly varnished 1/2" teak cabin sole.

Galley includes a propane stove/oven on a gimbal, microwave, a large 12V fridge and freezer with a new compressor.

There are three berths, dinette with a beautiful teak table, nav station, plenty of teak storage cabinets, and a manual head compartment with shower.

Information On Condition

Cockpit, deck, cabin floor feel solid, no soft spots or signs of water intrusion. Good gaskets at hatches and port holes. Chain plates and stanchions feel solid. Not a scratch on the hull.

Sloop appears well cared for and ready to set sail.
