This Morgan 461 has been lovingly updated and upgraded. If you are looking for a spacious, capable bluewater cruiser this is the one.

The Morgan "461" was first built as the "46" and later as the "462". The progressive Henry Scheel was given full reign for the creation of hull lines and proportions by Charlie Morgan, who is responsible for the deck, interior, and rig design. The yachts have a reputation for sailing well with their long waterline and powerful rig. They were available as either sloop or cutter. This one is Cutter rigged.

Perkins Diesel with only 638 hours and all systems are redundant and well maintained

New Solar Panels and controller system.

Space for 8+ to sleep and cruise comfortably , huge galley with Gimbaled stove and Large Refrigerator/ Freezer

Comprehensive electronics package, CPT Autopilot and helm set-up is built for single handed cruising.

Current owner used sail-right sewing machine and the most robust materials to create new cockpit enclosure, sail catcher and multiple, easy to use covers and bags (see pictures)

Maxwell electric -heavy duty windlass completely rebuilt and the gear includes 4 anchors and over a 1000' of Anchor chain and rode

All standing and running rigging is new within the last 3 years

Tons of upgrades & see above items. All maintenance records and files for all systems are onboard the boat.

All new LED Lighting. All new Batteries - Boat and DC House Power

Fridge/ Freezer is new. Apollo generator set is ready to be wired in and hooked up - it is still new, but has not been used.

Boat already has 2 electric bilge pumps and one manual, but owner has two brand new auxiliary bilge pumps that are ready to be wired in - plumbing is already in place.

Bowthruster needs a new lower unit.

Bottom paint needs to be done, but is in pretty good shape as the current owner dives the boat and cleans it often.
