1975 Yorktown 39C Cutter Sailboat in San Diego, California

Yorktown's lineup developed by the actor Henry 'Hank' McCune of television's The Hank McCune Show (the first show to ever use a laugh track) left show business and became one of the earliest builder of fiberglass boats in the US.

The McCune boat yard was originally located in the Long Beach CA area where he started building a series of cruising sailboats that included the Yorktown, many of which are still sailing.

Many of the Yorktown's were sold in varying states of construction to be completed by the customer. This boat's interior was fitted by the current owner.

Separate navigation table with radio and instrumentation.

Open salon with dinette table and lounge seats with bookshelves and custom millwork for storage and TV

The galley is well laid out for the chef while under sail.

Companionway connects to aft shop for stored good and easy access to materials.

Forward is a head, shower, and v-berth.

Information On Condition

The original design is a center cockpit sloop which has been rigged with an additional headsail making in a modified cutter.

The aft cabin is fitted to a machine shop with a workbench to satisfy any creative mind with working hands to stay busy.

Existing gen-set is non-operational and requires replacement. Currently uses portable Honda 2000 generator.

Custom made instrument console with electronics.
